Agreed; I once made a comment to a friend of mine about Twilight, something along the lines of "What intelligent girl would find out about guy sneaking into her room and watching her sleep and brush it off? He's hot, so it's okay? That's stupid." Of course, she pitched a fit. I learned that I couldn't say ANYthing negative about it, even if I gave reasons as to why it was so. It's an avoided topic and it shouldn't HAVE to be, if she didn't take it like I have insulted her GOD.
(I also didn't like Harry Potter after the fourth book, but I don't DARE say that to her face)
