Another version of the 'old picture of Popuri' deviation.

This one is supposed to be the same photo, much, MUCH later on.

...and is it really silly that right now, I can easily see this sad-ish scene of the little Harvest Moon guy's great-great-grandkid opening up an old trunk in the attic and finding a pic of his great-great grandma and having this imagination trip/flashback thing...?


Also, just FYI/useless info: I did the sepia effect myself to get the shade of it *I* wanted, instead of using the automated thing in Gimp 2.6. (I only used it for the border/blotches).

Don't ask why I randomly got inspired to make this around midnight or so--it just sort of happened and came out of nowhere. Maybe had to do with my finding clips of an old Harvest Moon soundtrack and listening to them for old times' sake.

Either way, this is supposed to be a slightly-mottled (hence the otherwise-horrendous blur/blotches/etc. that would make me otherwise refuse a hundred times over to post something that messed-up) old photo of Popuri.

Why Popuri?

I guess it just felt fitting because the veryveryveryfirst time I played through Harvest Moon: Back to Nature (my first HM game I ever played way back when), my character wound up marrying Popuri, so it just seemed sensible to make her, since it the whole thing is pretty much the result of a 3 AM nostalgia-type trip, anyway.

(And on a side note: Before someone asks, yes, I'm a girl, and yes, I'm straight. I can't help that the main character of the game was a guy, as I'm not the game creator. Also, I don't crush on fictitous characters, anyway, as I find it kind of weird/silly, at best. >_>; )

Also, people probably already know this, but just to make sure (and cover my butt, because people can be a little strict at times these days)...>_>
